Our Story
Clix Family Hospitals was founded in 2014 with a simple but ambitious goal: build the veterinary practice we'd want for our own pets. Not a sterile, stressful experience rushed through in 10 minutes — but a place where every pet gets thorough, modern care and every pet parent leaves feeling confident and informed.
From our first clinic on Clayton Avenue, we invested early in the technology that most practices still haven't adopted — digital radiography, in-house diagnostics, and eventually AI-powered tools like our symptom checker and smart booking system. Not because technology is flashy, but because it means faster answers, fewer follow-up visits, and better outcomes for your pet.
Today, our team of four veterinarians, eight vet techs, and six support staff serves thousands of pet families across the greater St. Louis area. We're AAHA accredited (fewer than 15% of practices earn this), Fear Free certified, and proudly rated 4.9 stars by over 300 pet parents. But what we're most proud of is simpler than any credential: pets are happy to come here.
