Use of the Website
The Site is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate access to our veterinary services. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality, or interfere with any other party's use of the Site. You are prohibited from attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, its servers, or any connected systems through hacking, password mining, or any other unlawful means. Content on the Site, including educational articles, service descriptions, and health information, is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary medical advice for any specific animal.
Online Booking Terms
Our online booking system allows you to request appointments at your convenience. Submitting a booking request through the Site constitutes a request for an appointment, not a confirmed reservation. All appointment requests are subject to availability and confirmation by our staff. You will receive confirmation via email or phone once your appointment has been scheduled. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments when necessary due to emergencies, staffing changes, or other operational considerations. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or restrictions on future online booking privileges.
Symptom Checker Disclaimer
The symptom checker tool available on our Site is designed to provide general educational guidance based on commonly reported pet symptoms. It is not a diagnostic tool and should never be used as a substitute for professional veterinary examination, diagnosis, or treatment. The symptom checker cannot account for your pet's complete medical history, current medications, or physical examination findings. Results generated by the symptom checker are informational only and may not reflect the actual condition of your pet. If your pet is showing signs of distress, injury, or illness, contact our office immediately at (314) 555-CLIX or visit the nearest emergency veterinary clinic. Reliance on symptom checker results without consulting a licensed veterinarian is entirely at your own risk.
Telehealth Services
Clix Family Hospitals may offer telehealth consultations for existing clients whose pets have an established patient-veterinarian relationship. Telehealth services are subject to the limitations inherent in remote consultations, including the inability to perform physical examinations, diagnostic imaging, or laboratory testing. Our veterinarians may determine that an in-person visit is necessary and decline to provide a diagnosis or treatment plan through telehealth alone. Telehealth consultations are governed by the laws and regulations of the State of Missouri, and services are only available to clients located within jurisdictions where our veterinarians are licensed to practice. Telehealth appointments are subject to the same scheduling and cancellation policies as in-person visits.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clix Family Hospitals, its owners, employees, veterinarians, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or reliance on any information provided therein. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. The Site and all content, tools, and features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may not use these marks without our prior written permission. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of Site content is strictly prohibited and may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in St. Louis, Missouri. By using the Site, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
Changes to These Terms
