Dental Estimate Explorer

See what a dental cleaning includes at each grade of disease, and what changes the estimate.

You can't grade your pet's teeth from home, and neither can we without an exam. What you can do is see how the estimate is built.

Grade 1

$350–$450

What's included

  • Pre-anesthetic bloodwork
  • IV catheter & fluids
  • Full-mouth digital X-rays
  • Ultrasonic scaling + polish
  • Fluoride treatment
  • Follow-up recheck

Early-stage care (Grades 1 to 2) runs $350 to $650. Advanced disease can reach $1,800 or more.

What moves the number

  • Severity of dental disease (Grade 1–4)
  • Number of extractions and oral surgery needed
  • Pre-anesthetic bloodwork and IV fluids
  • Take-home pain medication and antibiotics
  • Clix Wellness Membership discount (10% to 15% off, by plan)

What only an exam can tell you

  1. Your pet's grade, from X-rays and probing at the start of the procedure
  2. Whether any teeth need extracting, and how many
  3. The anesthesia plan, starting with pre-anesthetic bloodwork

We call you with your exact estimate after the oral exam and X-rays, before any treatment begins.
